New On Prime Video In July 2023: Good Omens Season 2, Fast X

With July quickly approaching, Prime Video is unveiling its lineup of TV shows and movies coming to the platform next month. Starting from the beginning of July, audiences can anticipate a wide assortment of titles scheduled to premiere throughout the month, providing a range of entertainment options to suit most preferences.

On July 28, Good Omens returns for Season 2. Created and written by Neil Gaiman, and based on his and Terry Pratchett’s 1990 novel of the same name, the upcoming season features storylines that delve beyond the original source material. According to a synopsis, the six new episodes will explore the enduring friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), an angelic rare book dealer, and Crowley (David Tennant), a free-spirited demon. Set in London’s Soho district, the duo’s peaceful existence is disrupted when the amnesiac archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) arrives at Aziraphale’s bookshop. As they hide Gabriel from Heaven and Hell, they must also solve the mystery and outsmart celestial forces, rely on each other once again, and seek a solution that transcends miracles.

Also available to rent or buy immediately–as in, right now, even–is Fast X. Fast X released in theaters on May 19, and while it’s still available to watch on the big screen, you can now watch the movie from the comfort of your own home. Fast X, the most recent film in the franchise, marks the beginning of the end. In the 10th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Dominic Toretto finds himself facing a formidable adversary, Dante Reyes. Jason Momoa steps in as the big bad, a notorious drug lord whose criminal empire was disrupted by Dominic and his team in a daring heist in Rio de Janeiro. The events of that heist resulted in the loss of the Reyes family’s fortune, and Dante is consumed by a burning desire for revenge. You can check out both our review roundup for the film, and GameSpot’s Fast X review.
