The titular filmmaker, known for his anxious yet perceptive persona, captures the lives of his fellow New Yorkers while offering his poignant and always surprising insightful everyday advice. With John serving as the show’s writer, director, cameraman, producer, and narrator, each episode takes unexpected turns, exploring relatable topics like the search for public restrooms, fitness routines, and even the art of ear cleaning.
Project Greenlight, the original Miramax Television and HBO series, returns as a Max Original on July 13.
